On 23 June 2005, the Mirage IV P 59 Strategic Intelligence Squadron (ERS) 1/91 "Gascogne" arose for the last time on the air base 118 of Mont-de-Marsan, for removal on duty.   Launched November 28, 1956 by the company Dassault, Mirage IV program was realized by the Flight of a first twin-engine bomber prototype called Mirage IV 01, June 17, 1969. Two years later, October 12, 1961, the first Mirage IV A was taking the air, opening a line of four prototypes and 62 production aircraft.
