One of the best gifts you can give to someone  that has Alzheimer's is a Busy Blanket (or Fidget Blanket) . No need to make it too large, lap size will do. Just make it  colorful with lots of textures; add zippers and gadgets, etc. This will help with sensory stimulation and keep their hands busy while occupying their mind to reduce the potential of agitation
