Feeling old - once did this

Did anyone make a Turnip Lantern for Halloween? Nowadays Pumpkin Lanterns are more fashionable, but children used to make turnip lanterns.

1960's coloured sword cocktail sticks.  I seemed to find these all through my childhood in bars and home lol

Sword Cocktail Sticks, these would often be the brightest things on the table at birthday parties, oh the pleasure of a beige buffet!

l'Oreal 1983 Mousse -- How I kept my hair somewhat under control.

Haha, I remember nicking my sister's mousse cos I couldn't afford the good stuff!

Golf Balls bubblegum- forgot all about these until I saw this pic.  Wonderful memory of the smell and texture!

Golf Balls bubblegum- the texture of these was amazing. Like a satisfying lump of blutack coated in a thick layer of emulsion paint. The flavour left a lot to be desired.

With hindsight I quite liked being poorly when I was a kid. Not only did I get off P.E. I was given Lucozade to help me get better. Look at Lucozade today. Totally reinvented as an athlete's power drink. Same drink. New customers. Nice job!

Lucozade - by hospital beds everywhere in the Remember getting this when i was in hospital. I hated it, only thing i liked was the orange cellophane.

I used to pour the whole bottle of this in the bath! M.

Matey Bubble Bath Why did Matey have to change the old version of this bubble bath? Fab bottle and it used to make your bath water blue - bring it back!
