Finally, we were able to take a photo of one of the many striped lizards living in our yard! Several now stop and look at us rather than running for cover; and so I believe they are the ones that have seen us the past few years and know we will not hurt them! I believe this is a Texas spotted whiptail lizard. Plants are non-native 4 o'clock and native poinsettia.
