Scriptural Origins// Eucharist was given to us by Jesus at the Last Supper on Holy Thursday.  In full awareness that his death was inevitable, he broke bread and poured wine to symbolize the everlasting sacrifice he made for his people.  Taken down in the New Testament, this is a pivotal part of Jesus' life and shows that he was willing to sacrifice his life for his children.
