We used Google in every stage, and was very useful in sourcing research and for getting inspiration for our video
We used the PDF format for most of our documents, as this file extension can be accessed easily by the vast majority of computer users, and was useful throughout the project
PLANNING: We used Twitter as a method of contacting the artist of the song we were using the song for in our music video. We did this in order to ask for permission in order to use their song. After doing this the copyright flag on our first draft was lifted by the rightful owner on Youtube.
We used slides to create our voicethread, and was most useful in the planning stage
We used drive to share our resources between the group, and allowed us to access all documents produced by other members once shared, and was used in every phase except post-production
We used Prezi to present our ideas to our classmates in our initial planning stage
We used Microsoft Word in every stage, and used it alongside Google Docs to produce planning documents and such
RESEARCH/PLANNING/ PRODUCTION/ EVALUATION: We used Edublogs during the entirety of the course as a way to present our findings and progress over the time of the course, we also used Edublogs as a way to find out our next tasks using a blog set up by our teacher giving us tasks and the materials we would need to complete them.
Here you see google forms. We used Forms to collect feedback in our evaluation phase
PLANNING/PRODUCTION: We used Facebook for the messenger to ask people to participate in our music video during planning. We then used it for communication to arrange school dates and times during production. We also posted our final products onto Facebook and asked people to give us feedback in an attached google form.
We used google Docs in every stage, but it was most useful in planning, where we used it to create our various documents, such as our Shot List and Risk Assessments
We used Premier Pro extensively in the production and post production phase of our music video, and found that it was a very useful tool for compiling shots and editing them together
We used the snipping tool to screen capture scenes from other music videos in our reverse storyboard, and this was very useful, as it allowed us to directly input images without cropping them, and allowed us to directly save our screen as an image
We used YouTube to upload and get feedback on drafts, and to post video format feedback in the evaluation phase
We used vine to gain feedback on our cuts in our post production stage, and gave us the ability to get very short commentaries on what went wrong and well
