Why don't we give engineers the credit they deserve?  Calatrava has degrees in both civil engineering (from Zurich's ETH, where this shot was taken) and architecture but I doubt he'll be remembered as 'Calatrava, the famous engineer'... I visited London Heathrow's Terminal 5 today. It is an amazing piece of architecture - much better than any of the other terminals there - and an excellent feat of engineering. This is the roof canopy of the walkway from the car park to the departure lobby.
