The last photo on the Core Creek bald eagles' board that shows the female was from last June. She had decidedly more white spots on her body, and more brown feathers still on her head than the bird in this series. Most likely, the above eagle is one of the offsprings from prior broods of the Burlington Island nesting pair. Someone had told me they spotted eagles above the landfill in Tullytown, a great place for an eagle to find food. She might be from there.
