The Aiderondack Arms Robinson repeating rifle, During the late 1800’s Aideron Arms was one of the few companies in America who tried to compete against Winchester for the repeating rifle market. To compete with the lever action, Aideron Arms produced a unique design that was the creation of Orville M. Robinson. Robinson’s strange design used a breechblock that was pulled back with each shot. The Robinson was chambered for .44 rimfire and .38 rimfire.
