LOOKING INTO THE ABYSS  Like all of Duffy’s designs, the Abyss Table is a conversation piece as much as a functional one. But while previous works play with gravity, this new design is concerned with depth, and creates a geological cross-section as mesmerising as the sea.

By using layers of wood and glass, London based designer Christopher Duffy came up with this beautiful Abyss Table that looks like the ocean depths. With a simple idea, Duffy managed to mix two major trends in current design and fin.
