Zhang Dali (張大力, b1963, Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province, China) | artist uses a photo process invented over 150 years ago, creates photograms or cyanotypes by brushing large pieces of cotton canvas with a mixture of chemicals. He explains, 'After drying the fabric, images placed in front of the fabric are captured in silhouette; and, within a few minutes of exposure to the sun's ray's negative images, or shadows start to form.'
