Moe Howard & Larry Fine. The Three Stooges were an American vaudeville and comedy team active from the late 1920's until the late 1960's, best known for their 190 Columbia short-subject films. Their hallmark was physical farce and slapstick. There were a total of six stooges over the act's run, with only three active at any given time, but Moe Howard and Larry Fine were mainstays throughout the ensemble's run of more than forty years. I love the Three Stooges. This is a home-made short filmed in 1938. It isn't cool just because the three stooges (and a pretty lady) are in it, but also because it is a time capsule of sorts to a forgotten era. Click on the picture to go to the article with the actual clip.

Moe's daughter Joan looks like Skyler Gisondo who played her dad as a boy in the 2012 3 Stooges movie!
