This is me, My name is Brooke Smith and I am a child laborer at a cotton factory in South Carolina. I am 8 years  old and I was sent to work in the factory when I was 6 years old, because my mom became ill and I was the next person to work in the family. I have a brother and a sister and I live at home with my family.
