Villa Le Lac Le Corbusier "柯布西耶--母亲之家" l It is a small house in Switzerland. It stands on the northern bank of Lac Léman. This small detached house, designed for Le Corbusier’s parents, was built in 1923-24 from plans drawn up by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret.3 of the “5 points for a new architecture”: the use of the roof as a sun deck or garden , the open plan and the ribbon window. A “Purist” house, a “machine for living”, it marks a decisive stage and prefigures the Villa Savoye.

Ernst Wiesner, also known as Arnošt Wiesner worked as an independent architect in the city of Brno, until 1939. Wiesner was a very active architect in the city between the World Wars. His work was greatly influenced by Adolf Loos and his pure constructions with their classicized balance and monumentality are amongst the best works to be constructed in Brno at that time.
