This Christening cake was based on a cake made by the very clever Deborah Hwang. I also used her easy to follow tutorial to make the baby converse shoes. The bottom tier is a 8 inch 3 layer vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream. The middle tier is a 6 inch 3 layer chocolate mud cake filled with chocolate ganache buttercream. The top tier is a 4 inch 3 layer lemon sponge filled with lemon buttercream. All of the decorations are handmade by me and edible.
