Anniversary Cake I made this cake for my grandparent's latest anniversary. It's all simple and vanilla, because that's how they roll. I kept one piping bag full of white, and just barely tinted the rest of it slightly golden. For the top, I made a stencil, (just cut a circle out of a section of wax paper), then filled in the area with gold sanding sugar. Then piped on the two rings in white and added the details on the edges of the layers.
Vanilla Cherry Scones -- I just found a very simple scone recipe (Alton Brown's, maybe?) and added dried cherries and vanilla extract. I gave them out to my co-workers with some fun tea as a Valentine's Day gift.
Lemon Lava Cake! It’s sweet, zesty and full of bright flavors!
