My first Japanese garb at Quest for Camelot, a Northshield SCA event. I'm aiming for Kamakura (around 1190ish and later) when women's clothing starts to simplify from Heian extravagance but women still get to wear pants. The hakama are the wrooong color and patterned, the hat is not period for my persona, and the modern kimono, eck. Did I mention the bed sheet kosode? I'm doing better now, but with plenty of room for improvement.
