Shoes, 1780-1790, England, Leather, Linen, Wool. Made of black woven wool and covered heel. Brown leather sole. Blunt point toe. Italian heel covered and shaped. Top piece leather. Sole shaped, worn and continues to heel breast. Polish sides at waist. Upper - vamp extends to pointed tongue. Side seam slanted forwards, open slits, quarters extend to latchets. Lining is white linen with white linen sock. Writing on vamp 'Miss Molly'.
