Sometimes I gaze up at the sky, the clouds and blue expanse, longing to spread my wings and fly to heavenly places. I glance at the breaks in the clouds imagining doorways through which I could walk and actually see heavenly places, perhaps even glimpse the throne of God. Not only are we who are born again in Christ JESUS seated in heavenly places, but when we leave this earthly existence we know we are going back there…
While we await the redemption of our bodies and the Wedding feast, we are in union with our beloved, JESUS. The 1st Century Church was very much in union with Christ, and He desires this union with each of us in the Church. What a glorious reality it is that we are not awaiting a future marriage, but we have Christ in us, an intimate relationship right now, united and yoked to the Lord. http://www.womenandthechurch.com/2015/01/joined-to-another.html
Why do I still feel sick when someone prays for me? We are so used to praying and praying for the things we want and so unseasoned in standing for them. Someone prays and the enemy throws a symptom our way. Pain is a mighty and powerful suggestion. Shhh! Don't agree with the symptom, don't take the suggestion. If the scriptures say the enemy is under your feet, keep your feet firmly planted.http://www.womenandthechurch.com/2015/02/by-his-stripes.html.
There are 3 storms you will encounter- The storm God sends, the storm that bad decisions create and the storm the enemy sends! Each one is navigated differently. The Storm God sends is intense but designed to get you to the other side larger and more l
Born from above, we have the new heart Ezekiel and Jeremiah wrote about. No longer an old wicked heart, but a new heart, circumcised from this body of flesh and joined to the Lord JESUS. When we tread down our enemies today we put the devil under our feet, and rescue the person he held captive, perhaps even the one who was against us, from a fire. http://www.womenandthechurch.com/2013/07/not-done-with-those-shoes-yet.html
Grow in faith & knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are called by a compassionate God to a compassionate faith, by a love that never fails, Grace.
Before JESUS completed His work at the cross, we existed only as cracked and chipped vessels that could hold no water. We attempted to cover those cracks and chips with clothes fashioned from fig leaves and linen, personal attempts at happiness without the Lord, and dead works that could not cover us . . . Without God we are left with only fig leaves and linen. Con't @ http://www.womenandthechurch.com/2014/12/fig-leaves-and-linen.html
