This book. During my early teenage years I felt that I could relate to this book more than I care to admit. A stellar-coming of age novel.

THE HELP, by Kathryn Stockett
Some books don't translate well into audio. For example, I have NEVER found an interesting audio version of the Canterbury Tales. But, this book is not only a great read . . er. . listen, but is well performed. It is an amazing journey through time into the deep south of the 1960's. I finished the book knowing each character intimately and I swear I could smell magnolias. A definite 5 star listen.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett was such a wonderful book. I laughed, almost cried and felt connected with the characters in the story. I can't wait to see the movie.
