Deep Purple, In Rock***** [1970]: Here's where Deep Purple move in the direction of heavy metal. In fact, I would call this album a strong heavy metal album and probably only the third true heavy metal album up to this point. This is also the Mark II version of DP, and I have to say that the band really found its sound here. I'm loving it. (3/9/2014)
