Wow what do I say about this one except for I spread out reading it because I did not want it to end. I can not think of another book that has caused me to do that. This book is so fulfilling in the characters, the writing, the history of the German occupation of the Channel Islands during WWII, and the feeling you get while you are reading it. I can not recommend it highly enough!
