First Grade School Box - Lady Bug Addition

A Common Mistake  you might notice that when I pointed to the word can, she sounded out the word cat. This is a very common mistake that early readers make.  They work hard on the first few sounds and then they guess on the last sound.  Most children do this and they do it often when learning how to read.  Patience and redirecting a child to focus on the last letter can really help with this very common issue.

BUILD = daily 5 for math -  love this idea, now just to figure out how to tweak it for early childhood special ed preschool. they only have 2 1/2 hrs a day so that doesn't leave us much time for a good block of math (or any other!) exploration
