Avoid close contact w/ sick ppl, avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth, cover coughs/sneezes, wash hands often w/ soap & water, & clean and disinfect surfaces/objects that may be contaminated w/ flu viruses. If sick, limit contact w/ ppl. Stay home for at least 24 hrs after fever is gone except to get medical care/necessities. Fever should be gone for 24 hrs w/o use of fever-reducing medicine before resuming normal activities.
