The incident happened at around 6:45 pm when Jefferson City Police (Missouri) officers responded to a burglary in progress call. The woman placing the call, Charlotte Morehouse, had left the house for her safety after making the call to 911 when she claimed someone named “Joel” was in her home burglarizing it.

Posted June 15, 2014 An Ohio dog is recovering after being shot by an officer with the Dayton Police Department, 2NEWS reported June 14. The family of the injured puppy says police shot the wrong dog. Dayton Police Department officers were called to the east side area on a dog at large complaint involving three adult dogs. One of the dogs, a white put bull, was witnessed attacking another pit bull in the neighborhood.

Thierbach infuriated dog lovers worldwide after he shot and killed a dog named Arzy during an arrest on April 30. On May 9th, Sulphur Police Chief Lewis Coats said Thierbach submitted his resignation Wednesday, prior to final disciplinary action being taken against him.
