Giant holes - People look at a large sinkhole on a street after a water pipe broke underneath it in Xi'an, Shaanxi province October According to local media, the pipe was damaged due to aging and no casualty was reported in the incident.

On February 12, 2014, a massive sinkhole opened up beneath the floor of the Skydome Building at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Eight rare and historic Corvettes, including two on loan from General Motors, were swallowed up.
