I used the how to draw a pigeon page from Mo Willems' website to instruct the students on how to draw the pigeon. You can use Sharpies or black oil pastels to draw the pigeon and then paint them with liquid watercolors. Oil pastels create more of a barrier for the paint than Sharpies.
