I love the idea of a covered pedestrian walkway (WindSong CoHousing, Langley)

For the past year and a half I've been living in WindSong Cohousing in Langley, British Columbia (BC), Canada.

Cohousing communities offer nurturing places where people of all ages grow and age well.

Cohousing is a type of collaborative housing in which residents actively participate in the design and operation of their own neighborhoods. Cohousing residents are consciously committed to living as a community.

Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco was the first major adaptive reuse project in the U.S. opening in 1964. Urban waterfronts, historically used as points for industrial production & transport, are now selling-points for home buyers & renters.National Historic Landmark dates from 1864,   making Civil War uniforms, but best known as a former chocolate & spice factory of Ghirardelli, who purchased it in 1893.
