The Owl Bar in Baltimore Located in the Belvedere Hotel, The Owl Bar derives its name from the fake owl that, during Prohibition, would blink to signal to regulars that shipments of booze had arrived—and that it was safe for them to come drink. Today many of the 100-year-old features remain, from the carved-wood entryway to the owl itself. The Owl Bar features a long craft beer menu, including brews from Baltimore’s Heavy Seas Brewery, and a classic cocktail selection list.
The homepage picture of a close up of a brink wall and greasy olives has be wondering how this is representational to the restaurant. The small white text on black background on the dinner menu is very hard to read, the text should be bigger and more space in between lines.
