Included are: 10 task cards/10 1/2 page posters (using the same sentences), a student recording sheet, directions, & an answer key. I use this as an upper elementary "Write Around the Room" activity. The cards follow a cute made up story of Freddy Frogheart.
This is a great way for students to learn their prefixes. Under each flap their is a list of words that uses each prefix. This is a good tool to have when students are writing. They could do this in their writing journals so when they are stuck they know where it is.
Teacher Talk: Modeling and Developing Text Interaction -- Again, more useful, perhaps, in an elementary or early adolescent setting. Although it isn't free, it may be worth the investment considering it addresses new CCSS requirements
