Portugal-based architecture and design studio LIKEarchitects designed a spectacular garden of lights for IKEA at the Centro Cultural de Belm in Lisbon.

Yoshioka is renowned for using materials evocatively to draft the sense and the sense of nostalgia into service in stirring the emotions. With a single gesture, a single material, and with only the eyes, the silently floating feathers of Snow were intended to recall the irregular and unpredictable machinations of nature, and were meant to conjure the memory of a snowscape and all the feelings that that memory, so deceptively simple and short-lived, may elicit.
