The Charleston dance became extremely popular in the especially with Flappers. The flappers had a beautiful style that was easier portrayed in posters, as their long dresses created movement to represent the Charleston.
This sculpture, "Unconditional Surrender", by J. Seward Johnson is in downtown Carmel, Indiana, off of Main Street just east of Range Line Road. The Arts District has alot of these realistic sculptures. Sometimes you think they are real people.
