Write sentences on popsicle sticks (enough for each student). Have the students read the sentence to the class and chart the nouns. After the activity, students can create a foldable and write 5 nouns under each flap (person, place, thing).
Your students will show what they've learned about the difference between facts and opinions using this practice page. After reading a book on their own, students will write down one fact about the book and one opinion about the book.
Fun, Fun, Fun! Get students up and moving around the room with this fun game that everyone can play. Students have cards with what may or may not be a complete sentence. They move around quizzing each other and then trading cards before moving to the next person.
