Alternative Gardning: Chicken coop made from pallets. Make sure the Pallets are Heat Treated, they will have an HT on them. Do not use Chemical Treated or Pallets that do not have a marking.

I love Araucana eggs! (Though through an internet search these are more technically called Easter Egger eggs as Araucana are a very specific breed of chicken.

Raising chickens? Feed them these herbs for health: garlic & onion; chickweed; dandelion; fennel; wormwood; rue; cleavers; mint; cress; marigold; vervain; comfrey; mullein root; thyme; marjoram; sage; nasturtium; mugwort; goat's rue;  gotu kola; parsley. (Don't worry about amounts – chickens will eat only what they need.)
