Native Plant - I suppose it's a good thing that I like wild flowers because most of the natives tend to be prairie wildflowers, direct sun and able to withstand drought. This flower (Oxeye Heliopsis helianthoides) is more appealing to me than are most heliopsis; its less "bunchy" and seems to grow in smaller (and taller) clusters.
