Winde Rienstra SS 2012. Winde Rienstra (1981) grew up in Friesland and graduated in 2009 for Design at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. Since 2010 she is busy professionalizing her entrepreneurship and started her own label. Winde Rienstra designs slow fashion, a movement within the fashion world that summarizes her core values: sustainability, timelessness, uniqueness, quality, handcraftsmanship and attention to crafted designs.

Ionic Structure and Metallic Reaction is inspired by the exploration of chemistry studies, chemical reactions, elements, atoms and bonds. Geometric chemical structure is prominent within the designs. The reactions of elements and their explosive compositions are reflected through shape, manipulation and placement within the collection.
