Despite census data that shows 37% of the US population consists of people of color, only 10% of children’s books published have diversity content. We'd like to change that. The focus of this board is to highlight children's authors and illustrators of color and high quality children's books with diversity themes and/or characters. To join this board, please email pragmaticmomblog (at) gmail (dot) com. Lovingly edited by PragmaticMom.com and JumpIntoaBook.com.

Top 10 Latinx Books For Kids

I was confused on the nomenclature of Hispanic American versus Latino American so I looked it up: Hispanic: a person of Latin American or Iberian ancestry, fluent in Spanish.
