National Trust Gardens: Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown visited Newton House in 1775 after being invited to give his opinion. He was not required to produce a plan but advised on additional works. He recommended moving the kitchen garden from Newton House, relocating the farm to where the modern day Home Farm is located and planting clumps of trees. Dinefwr has a path named after ‘Capability’ Brown as it’s believed he helped plan its design.
