𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 Meditation - how do you view it? For me it is not always about stillness, but a feeling of connection. It can be walking in a wood full of bluebells, just sitting with my kids - being present, being aware. As my girls get older I am trying to still make this fun, but also showing them that finding joy in the simple things takes awareness. It is being in 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 moment
Anytime, anyplace! I hope that the Mindful Parenting resources have shown you that there are techniques you can use with your kids ANYWHERE. From watching for nature, to blowing bubbles. The secret - just keep doing it!! As a parent in the tech age, anything that can keep us and our kids off a gadget for even a little while has got to be a GOOD thing.
𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 Life - it is a journey Sometimes we need to TRUST! This has certainly be part of my journey over the last 2 years. Something that I have embraced, but often with resistance. I have found that working with the natural cycles of the earth, including the moon has really helped us. The kids may laugh, but they also like creating mandalas, walking under a full moon or foraging. A simpler way of living? Maybe?

Kids are so much better than us at this, so perhaps this is one that we can learn FROM our children. To be present in their moments of joy, how they only think about what they want/ need NOW. How do you keep 'in the moment'?

This is a great opportunity to spend some time outdoors with your kids. *Just observe what is going on in nature around you. *Go to a special spot, if you have it. If not just wander into your own garden or local park. *This is a great mindful exercise - as you can see, hear, smell, touch and even taste Spring.
