The Brannock Device would accurately determine your shoe size, as well as your shoe width if you had wide or extra-thin feet. It was extra awesome because you could just flip it around to check out the sizing of your other foot! lol

Remember having your foot measured at the shoe store? Did you know this was called a "Brannock Device"? Remember when shoe salesmen used to measure your foot and bring you each box of shoes you wanted to try on?

Walls Ice Cream Block & Rectangular Cones!!!!

These were DIY ice creams. Buy a cone and a chunk of ice cream wrapped in a bit of grease proof paper and make yourself a lush summer fave!

I still have several pieces of cutlery like this which belonged to my Gran, it's still in use every day and even survives the dishwasher. One fork is solid silver, I usually use it for making gravy in the meat tin on the hob!

Australia / Vintage bone-handled cutlery, once found in every Aussie kitchen drawer.

Starsky & Hutch, 70's.. THIS is the sole reason why I STILL like a guy in a sweater :)) lol at mahself

Starsky and Hutch. Everyone liked Paul Starsky, but I preferred Hutch - Ken Hutchinson. I had a navy blue, zip up cardigan (bought at Wembley market) embroidered with the word 'Hutch.' I even wore it to school when I could get away with it.

The Magic Roundabout. i had zebedee pyjamas!!

The Magic Roundabout ~ 6 O'clock, just before the news, then bed.

Parachuting Soldier from the 60's. I remember dropping it out of the bedroom window into the garden.

Parachute with soldier. You tucked the soldier inside the plastic chute. Then you threw the thing up as far as you could and he& parachut back to you. It got old after thirty seconds.

I remember the hundreds of Kodachrome color slides Dad had of the family and places we visited.

remember these? We used to have movie night, growing up, and my Dad would set up the screen and projector and we'd sit for hours watching old pics!
