Love, love, love Brit comedy. Childhood favorites, a bit raunchy for a 6 year old but I loved it.

The carry on veterans - Kenneth Williams, Hattie Jaques, Sid James, Joan Sims, Jim Dale and Barbara Windsor

Go on admit it, you loved the 'Carry On' films, didn't you? Harmless, innocent fun choc full of good ol' British postcard humour the 'Carry On' films were a long running series of Ealing style British comedies. 'Carry on Doctor' hit the screens in 1967 and is on my faves along with 'Carry On Screaming'. Still very watchable today if a little dated. The 'Carry On' represent an era of British cinema that will never be replaced

Follow That Camel (1967) To boost receipts in America, Phil Silvers was cast as a replacement to Sid James in this Beau Geste parody, with Camber Sands standing in for the Sahara Desert. Still missing the Carry On prefix, the film was only a moderate success. Audiences clearly preferred Sid.
