The ceiling is a good place to add color in the kitchen since many times there is not a lot of wall space. It's also a good way to get color without doing it with tile, cabs, or countertops....all very permanent decisions. A ceiling could easily be repainted at any time.

Ceiling beam option- bead board and beams - ya know that beam that runs through the kitchen and right into a scalloped corner shelf? Maybe we could paint the ceiling light blue or mossy green and that beam white?

@martine resnick @ martine louise design I love clear glass pendants & Mercury Glass Pendants for the kitchen. Eric's not always a big fan.
