Ranging from the highly authentic, to blatantly 'British' - it's generally Indian, Pakistani & Bangladeshi in origin. Definitely try it, but approach Jalfrezi, Madras, Vindaloo, Phal & Chilli Masala with appropriate caution. However, forehead-sweat and intermittent tears are all part of the dining experience, so take at least some risk regarding the chilli content.
