Classroom Decorations Getting my classroom, student ready! This is my favorite part of the year, looking for items that will fit perfect.

Display students' work by laminating construction paper and hot gluing clothes pins to the back. Durable and long lasting.

Pirate/Ocean Theme

Treasured Work bulletin board to keep all year! Place hook under each student's name and put work in a "portfolio" on a ring so excellent work can be displayed. On the front of portfolio, put their name and picture (for the first day of school).

You Be You Learning Journey and floor books.

I like the idea of a learning journey. Shows the students and parents what was taught and learned throughout time in school

Number hunt. Great idea to get the children identifying and looking for number.

ABC Does post on display - each child in the class has their own square with their photo and a photo of their family. The rest is added as they go along.

Early Years Display

Display Boards - Nursery/Reception large square for each child with photo of them and significant other - Add examples of work and projects - Annotate with child's comments & adults for evidence (can stick in learning journals later)
