So CUTE...Firefighter Role Play to put out "Chalk Fires" by spraying them with water using a spray bottle to put out the "Chalk Flames." I used this fun learning activity to help my son recognize more words that start with the letter F...words like Fire, Firefighter, Flames, Fire Truck. He was really engaged during the entire activity and enjoyed spraying the letter F, along with the fire. :)

The children at Macclesfield are very interested in being fire fighters and they were given the opportunity to put a 'fire' out whilst in pre-school. They discussed what colours were in a fire and they selected paints to represent the fire. The children then placed some buildings in a tray and covered them with foam and fire coloured paints. They 'called' 999, shouting "fire, fire", and then they became firefighters, putting the fire out with spray bottles. Oh my, what fun they had! #eyfs
