Leaf Man

Today we read a very fun story entitled "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert. Afterwards we went on a leaf hunt to see how many different kinds of leaves we could find. We took the leaves we found and tried to make our own Leaf Man! We ran into a few problems with our leaves because of the messy fall we are having. We found it much easier to build our Leaf Man with printed scans of leaves Mrs. B gave us instead. Check out our hard work! Follow my Teacher Page on Pinterest!

Nurturing the tender years

I know it has been a while since I did a Nurturing Virtue post. There are two reasons for this, one is that I am working on a rather large project related to our virtue studies, which I will eventually share as a whole on this blog, and you will understand where my energies have been going (I just don’t have time at this point to duplicate my efforts into the project I am working on and posting it here too, but it will eventually be available to all of you in its completed form). The second…
