Felt Monoliths l-Vll (Sarah Waters, 2017) Embracing British wool at its core Sarah likes pushing the boundaries with her work, constantly using sketchbooks to draw from nature. Monoliths (standing stones or orthostats) are part of our heritage; they cover the countryside from Cornwall to Stonehenge and up through the country to Ireland and the Orkneys. Sarah takes her inspirations from the world around her, using local British wool to produce large scale installations.
