New Castle Lachlan lies on the eastern shore of Loch Fyne, near Newton about 10 minutes from old Castle Lachlan. It was first built in the 18th Century by Donald Maclachlan in the Queen Anne style. This is the seat of the current Maclachlan Clan Chief.
