Spanish Steps (Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti) - Rome, Italy - - 137 steps in 12 irregular flights linking the beautiful Piazza de Spagna (Spanish Square named after the Spanish Embassy to the Holy See) at the bottom & the French Church
Stow on the Wold This is the most mysterious looking church door that I know! The yew trees must have been planted many many years ago, and are now part of the structure of the north doorway, and give off a green light!
These trees are rumored to be the inspiration for JRR Tolkien's trees at the Gates of Moria. They are located at Saint Edwards Church, Stow-on-the-Wold, England, supposedly. I definitely see the inspiration.
