This week is #NAW2016. We will be celebrating apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy.

Floristry apprentice Hannah attends College once a week and works at The Hedgerow Florists in Skipton. 'My employer has been terrific with me and has encouraged me to be more creative,' says Hannah.

Tobias was an advanced apprentice in Customer Service who gained employment at Slingsby. HR & Payroll supervisor Morag Tearne, says: 'The process from picking up the phone to hiring an apprentice was really straight forward. The College were really attentive to our needs and it shows as the candidates that we have taken on have really proven themselves in a business setting'.
